WHO CAN WIN?
The WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award of 1 million SEK is open to individuals, organisations, or movements worldwide that have significantly contributed to a more sustainable future, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The winners are appointed by an independent jury that assesses candidates based on criteria such as impact, scalability, systems thinking, and a holistic approach to sustainability. These criteria ensure that the laureates' work not only addresses immediate challenges but also has the potential for broad, long-term impact and positive change.

WIN WIN is a platform knowledge, dialogue, and collaboration.
Rooted in the UN Global Goals, each year's theme sets the direction for a dynamic programme of seminars, conferences, campaigns and cross-sector initiatives. The award fosters cross-sector collaboration and mobilises individuals and organisations to drive real, lasting change.

WIN WIN in the Amazon with Domingo Peas
As part of the 2025 WIN WIN Award, the delegation traveled to Ecuador to document and experience the life and work of this year’s laureate, Domingo Peas. Domingo has dedicated more than three decades to defending the Amazon rainforest and advancing the rights of Indigenous peoples. His leadership, vision, and commitment have made him a unifying voice for communities across the Amazon basin.
