Göteborgs Stad

The City of Gothenburg is responsible for the majority of community services in our area. The most important areas are preschool and school, social services and care of the elderly.

 

The City of Gothenburg co-founded the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award.

Region Västra Götaland consist of 49 municipalities and 1.7 million inhabitant. Their mission is to contribute to a thriving region; to make it a good place to live and work for present and future generations.  Region Västra Götaland is governed by democratically elected politicians.

Göteborgs universitet

The University of Gothenburg meets societal challenges with diverse knowledge. Strong research and attractive study programmes attract scientists and students from all around the world. The University works actively for sustainable development and with new knowledge and new perspectives, it contributes to a better future.

Carl Bennet

Carl Bennet AB is the principal owner of the Getinge and Arjo medical technology groups, the Elanders logistics group and the Lifco industry and trade group.

Carl Bennet himself co-founded the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award.

Chalmers Tekniska Högskola

Chalmers University of Technology conducts  research and education in technology and natural sciences at a high international level with a sustainable future as its global vision. Chalmers has 13 departments and coordinates Graphene Flagship, an FET Flagship initiative by the European Commission. 

SEB

SEB is a leading Nordic financial services group with over 4 million customers and 17,000 employees. Committed to sustainability, SEB partners with clients to transition to more sustainable business models and uses its expertise to drive positive impact, aiming to help society reach net-zero emissions by 2050.

Andra AP-fonden

Andra AP-fonden manages about SEK 460 billion and is one of the buffer funds in the Swedish pension system. The Fund’s goal is for the entire portfolio to be in line with the Paris Agreement, i.e. for the portfolio's greenhouse gas emissions to decrease at a rate that can limit global warming to 1.5 degrees. 

Essity

Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company, with sales in approximately 150 countries. They are dedicated to improving well-being and addressing global challenges, and is a signatory to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the UN Global Compact.

Located in the heart of Gothenburg, the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel offers the winners and guests of the WIN WIN Award room and hospitality during the WIN WIN award week. The menu of their restaurant Noot Nordik Kitchen is ever-changing and based on Nordic seasonal produce.

UN Women Sweden is a National Committee supporting UN Women’s global mission, is one of our 2026 theme partners under “Gender-Equal Societies.” They advance women’s leadership, economic empowerment, and safety, combat violence against women, and promote gender-responsive policies worldwide.

MÄN is a Swedish non-profit organisation and one of our 2026 theme partners under “Gender-Equal Societies.” They work to advance gender equality, prevent men’s violence, and reshape harmful norms of masculinity. 

Stockholm Resilience Centre

Stockholm Resilience Centre is an international research hub at Stockholm University, focused on resilience and sustainability science. Through knowledge exchange and by amplifying the opportunity to nominate for the WIN WIN Award, we collaborate to deepen the understanding of global sustainability challenges.

Fandango is a creative content agency based in Sweden, working with brands across the globe.

In 2025, they joined the WIN WIN Team to document the work and life of the WIN WIN Award 2025 laureate Domingo Peas in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

The Inner Development Goals (IDG) is a global initiative focused on promoting inner development for outer change, aiming to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2025, IDG was the theme partner under “Trailblazing Leadership” and continues to collaborate to highlight sustainable solutions.

Through the collaboration with TRUE, all finalists and laureates of the WIN WIN Award receives a verified, tamper-proof, and easy to share, digital diploma ensuring well-deserved recognition for those driving sustainable change.

CSR Västsverige is a non-profit association bringing together nearly 300 businesses, organisations, and associations to accelerate the transition to a sustainable society. Together with CSR Västsverige, we organise the Gothenburg Sustainability Summit.

Reväst

Reväst is a platform at the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Reväst fosters collaboration among businesses, academia, and the public sector in Western Sweden. WIN WIN and Reväst collaborate yearly on events aligned with the award's current theme.

Focali is a Swedish research network linking experts across disciplines to deepen understanding of the connections between forests, climate, biodiversity, and livelihoods. WIN WIN and Focali exchange knowledge and arrange joint events.

A Beautiful Soup is a PR agency with sustainability at its core, operating from Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. WIN WIN and A Beautiful Soup collaborate to create meaningful events focused on current social issues.
