THE WIN WIN AWARDS

Our two international awards, WIN WIN Award and WIN WIN Youth Award, celebrate outstanding contributions toward a sustainable future. Each award has an independent jury containing members with diverse backgrounds within academia, private industry, public sector, and civil society.  An expert advisor is appointed for each jury with profound expertise in the current theme. The WIN WIN Award has been presented in Gothenburg since 2000, and the WIN WIN Youth Award was founded in 2018. The winners reside in Gothenburg during the WIN WIN Award Week in October each year, culminating in the grand award night.

PRIZE CUBES 2022 by STUDIO NEWTAB-22

Designers Hyein Choi and Jihee Moon are particularly drawn to natural and overlooked materials which they seek to bring to modern life through innovative design.

The WIN WIN Award Prize Cubes has the basic shape of a cube, but each year it is made of a different sustainable material. One year it might be seaweed, the next volcanic ash, the year after that, recycled ocean plastic – and so on, until one day, sustainability is so ingrained in our collective behaviour that there is no need for an award. The prize cubes are created in close partnership with our visionary branding agency HAPPY f&b.
