AND PLANET
The WIN WIN Award of SEK 1 million was founded in 2000 in Gothenburg, Sweden, as an alliance between politics, business and academia, driven by the belief that global challenges require collaboration and strong role models who inspire action towards a sustainable future.
In 2018, we founded the WIN WIN Youth Award of SEK 100,000 to empower young changemakers aged 13 to 29.
Past laureates include leaders such as Gro Harlem Brundtland, Al Gore and Kofi Annan, as well as organisations such as Bellingcat and IPBES, and even cities such as Seoul, South Korea.

Based in Gothenburg, WIN WIN is where local perspectives and global insights meet — a bridge between regional sustainability strengths and the needs of global transformation. Through a dynamic programme of events and initiatives, we create space for cross-sector collaboration and build partnerships that drive system-changing solutions for a sustainable future.

As a non-profit organisation, we are financed through partnerships with the public sector, universities and businesses, who together form a cross-sectoral network. We work with this network in various ways to strengthen our collective capacity for change. We collaborate closely with a wide range of organisations and individuals, drawing on their expertise and reaching further through our shared networks. Because we belive that collaboration is the key to sustainable progress.
