MARDI GRAS BECOMES NEW COMMUNICATIONS PARTNER OF THE WIN AWARD

The Gothenburg-based full-service agency will help strengthen the award’s brand and increase awareness of its mission to celebrate global sustainability achievements.

The digital full-service agency Mardi Gras has decided to join WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award as a partner, offering its expertise to help build the WIN WIN Award’s brand and increase recognition of its mission.

“We are proud and excited to collaborate with one of the country’s leading sustainability organizations and a globally recognized award,” says Henrik Björklund, CEO of Mardi Gras. “For us, it is clear that businesses and society as a whole need to engage in these issues.”

The WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award was established at the beginning of the millennium to recognise and celebrate global sustainability efforts carried out by both individuals and organisations. Over 25 years and with as many laureates, it has grown into one of Sweden’s—and the world’s—most prestigious sustainability prizes.

By joining forces with Mardi Gras, the WIN WIN Award aims to further strengthen the public awareness of its work.

“All of us need to work together if we are to achieve the sustainability goals,” says Björklund. “By recognizing and celebrating those who make a real difference, WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award has helped put sustainability in the spotlight. Their consistent efforts over the past 25 years show that they take these issues seriously. We want to help even more people notice their work.”

Sara Larsson, Executive Director of WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award, adds:“We are delighted to welcome Mardi Gras as a communications partner. They understand the scope of sustainability issues and bring broad experience in communication and marketing. With 2025 being a critical year for global sustainability, we look forward to continuing to play a leading role together.”
