The WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award has reached new heights with no fewer than 430 nominations for this year's prize. The theme for 2024 is Inclusive Transition and has engaged people and organisations worldwide.

This year, both the WIN WIN Award and the WIN WIN Youth Award (for individuals aged 13-29) have seen a significant increase in nominations, demonstrating the growing interest in sustainability and the need to collaborate for an inclusive transition. Nominations come from various sectors and represent a wide diversity of initiatives and projects striving to create a more sustainable future.

"We are incredibly excited about the large number of nominations. It reflects significant global commitment to participation in the green transition among both established actors and the youth," says Sara Larsson, Executive Director of the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award.

The theme for 2024, "Inclusive Transition," is based on the fundamental principle of Agenda 2030, namely "Leave no one behind." The jury's work has now begun to select five finalists for each award, to be presented on 13th March.
