ABOUT THE EVENT
Week 42 marks the annual WIN WIN Week, where we celebrate the laureates of the WIN WIN Award and the WIN WIN Youth Award. This year's theme, "Gender-Equal Societies," highlights leaders who are creating real opportunities for women to take part in society on equal terms — economically, socially, and politically — and who show how gender equality drives peace, resilience, and sustainable development.
This year's WIN WIN Award laureate is Alaa Murabit, a physician, security strategist, and capital architect from Libya/Canada who founded The Voice of Libyan Women at just 21, during Libya's civil conflict, and has since worked to place gender equality at the heart of peacebuilding, from grassroots organizing all the way to the UN Security Council.
The WIN WIN Youth Award goes to Julieta Martínez from Chile, founder of Tremendas — a platform active in 18 countries that supports and connects young female changemakers around the world to drive social transformation and gender equity.
Throughout the week, we will host activities in collaboration with academia, the private and public sectors, and civil society.
Together, we aim to create a space for learning, dialogue, and collaboration that inspires action.
