Wisdome, Universeum, Södra Vägen 50, 400 20 Göteborg, Sweden
ABOUT THE EVENT
The flow of information today is enormous. It's no longer enough to reach out with a message, you also have to reach in.
Reaching out is about getting a message seen at scale. Reaching in is about making it actually change how someone thinks and acts.
DATE: 16 October
TIME: 10:00–12:00 (Please arrive by 10:00, it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the entrance to the lecture hall. Programme starts at 10:30)
PLACE: Wisdome, Universeum Gothenburg.
This event brings together people working to close that gap in different, innovative and forward-thinking ways. From movement building that shifts political and societal positions, to science communication that turns hard data about our planet's safe operating space into something the world can act on, to companies working to shift how their own customers act. Here, we get to hear the methods they've used and the decisions behind them.
Speakers
• Alaa Murabit & Julieta Martínez | Laureates of the 2026 WIN WIN Award and WIN WIN Youth Award
Share how they've turned ideas into movements that have engaged and mobilised people at scale, and what it takes to move beyond reaching out with a message to actually reaching in, changing minds and driving real change.
• Marcus Lundstedt | Head of Communications, Stockholm Resilience Centre.
Explores how Johan Rockström took "planetary boundaries" from a scientific concept to a framework now embedded in how governments, businesses and the public understand humanity's relationship with Earth's systems, and shares practical lessons from SRC's new handbook, Planetary Communications.
• Helena Nordström Ernbo | Partner and Country Lead for Sustainability, EY Sweden.
Discusses EY's shift from traditional consulting towards a position as thought leaders in a transformed economic system, through initiatives such as the research team New Economy Unit and backing the design studio SALLY Doberman, which turns our biggest sustainability challenges into tangible experiences.
More speakers to be announced.
This event is organised by WIN WIN Award and Mardi Gras in collaboration with Universeum.
