ABOUT THE EVENT
The 2026 WIN WIN Award Ceremony honours two leaders whose work has shaped how the world approaches this year's theme, Gender-Equal Societies. Dr Alaa Murabit, a physician and peacebuilder, founded Voice of Libyan Women at the age of 21 in the middle of the Libyan civil war and has since spent more than a decade changing how gender equality and peace are understood together. Julieta Martínez from Chile founded Tremendas when she was 15, and it has grown into a network across 18 countries that gives young women the tools and training to lead on climate and gender equality.
Over the course of the evening, both laureates receive their awards and share their work in their own words, framed by live music and a dinner in the historic rooms of Börsen.
Guests will share the evening with academics, business leaders, policymakers and representatives of civil society and the public sector, people who approach change from very different directions but share the conviction that it can be achieved, and who are already working to bring it about.
Attendance is by personal invitation.
