SWEDISH GÅRDSFISK AND COLOMBIAN RESEARCHER SARA GUTIERREZ PLATA IS THE 2022 RECIPIENTS OF WIN WIN AWARD AND WIN WIN YOUTH AWARD

The 2022 winners of the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award and the WIN WIN Youth Award are now offical. The prestigious awards are given to Swedish fish farm Gårdsfisk and to researcher Sara Gutierrez Plata of the Fisheries Institute in Mexico respectively. The prize sum totaling over SEK 1 million will be presented at the WIN WIN Award gala in Gothenburg, Sweden on October 21st.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AT FRIHAMNSDAGARNA

On Friday the 26th of August the winners of the WIN WIN Award and WIN WIN Youth Award will be announced online and on stage at Frihamnsdagarna - the new Swedish arena for democracy. With about 300 nominations from all over the world, the juries have decided on two outstanding winners.

SWEDEN'S FOREMOST CHEFS HIGHLIGHT SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE

The WIN WIN organisation has gathered 15 of Sweden’s foremost chefs and culinary personalities in a thrilling aquaculture cook-off duel to inspire people to discover the possibilities of sustainable aquaculture and blue foods.  Each chef has filmed their own show and one video per week will be released via WIN WIN Award’s Youtube-channel starting today. The chef with the most likes at the end of the campaign will be elected WIN WIN chef of the year and the best motivation is rewarded with two VIP tickets to WIN WIN Award Night on October 21st .
